Thanksgiving? Say what?!

Has it really been two weeks?! The days seem to drag on forever, but the weeks, as a whole, are flying by this semester.

I mean, right now, I sit here writing, waiting to go home this afternoon for Thanksgiving  from the comfort of my own bed. When did it sneak up on us?! Absolute craziness. I cannot wait to see my friends and family,  my kitty cat, to sleep in my own bed, and to spend another Black Friday with Miss B!

Catching up on the past two weeks; they’ve been full of classes, clubs, homework, homework, and more homework. The library is officially my second home. I’m excited to go home to simply say that I’ve been out of the library for more than 24 hours.

Yeah…like I said—it’s my second home. Hopefully my grades reflect it at the end of the semester ;)

But even though there’s been a lot of work, there’s also been ample amounts of fun, too :)

Visiting with the salamanders that B cleans—I even picked out my favorite and named it! *Names have been hidden to protect the innocent.

Deciding, thanks to the help of awesome friends, that I do want to become a marriage and family counselor…and requesting information from grad schools!

Making multiple trips to Sheetz and McDonald’s for late nights in the library.

Visiting with the boys in the Boitnott Honor House and witnessing their “attack” on BC’s president. Only at Bridgewater…

Having a movie night and watching movies that I would have never picked out to watch myself. B convinced me to watch Boondock Saints (so funny!) and Inglorious Bastards (definitely interesting). All I can say is…that I feel more “cultured” and that I can’t wait until it’s my night to pick the movies!

Playing on Pinterest with friends.

And since getting home…

Eating Chick-fil-a with my momma for my first meal home from break.

I hope everyone else has had a wonderful couple of weeks!

I have a couple more posts for this week and I’m going to try really hard to get them up, but I make no promises. If I don’t, I hope each of you has a wonderful Thanksgiving! :)
