Minute to Win It

I know that it’s Spring Break and all, but I’ve been meaning to share with you one of my favorite parts about BC—my residence hall. Because, you see, we have this awesome RA on the third floor who plans the best programs for us. We have Glee nights and have made dream collages and we always have so much fun.

Our latest program? Minute to Win It. (You reality TV lovers probably know exactly what I’m talking about.) Competitors have 60 seconds to complete some kind of crazy challenge. We partnered up, vying to win a $20 gift card to Wal-Mart—because what college kid doesn’t want one of those?! My roomie had already figured out exactly how many Lunchables she could buy; she was that sure that she was going to win.

We started our program (after a wonderful fire drill in the freezing cold) and my goodness was it hard!! And everyone got extremely competitive. But it was so much fun. By the end we were all exhausted between the running around and laughing.

I absolutely love my residence hall!! I can’t wait to go back to school because one of our upcoming programs are planting little potted plants for our dorm rooms—so exciting. It’s really the little things in my life :)

What are some awesome programs that you have in your dorms??

  1. Okay- that looks like tons of fun! We played Minute to Win It at some of our Christmas parties last year, and we tried the one where you stack 3 golf balls. It's almost (but not, because I did it!) impossible to do it period, much less in a minute or less! You should try it! :)

  2. I'm definitely going to have to!! We loved ALL of the challenges! Have you guys tried the one where you have three full cans of unopened soda in one hand and three empty cans of soda in the other and you have to transfer them to the other hand?? Soooo hard!
