Our second girls’ night of the summer started last Thursday afternoon.
Getting lost on an old one-lane country road in search of D’s house.
Where D frantically watched the radar as the fear of thunderstorms and tornados grew as the skies darkened and weather watches were released.
When A spotted a few swirling clouds, we took cover in the basement and waited for the storm to pass.
Once everything was given the all clear by meteorologist, D, our girls’ night was in full swing: quesadillas, movies, dancing and Mad Gab—and lots, and lots, and lots of talking. We talked clear until the next morning (after a brief break for sleep, of course) over D’s delicious muffins.
It was perfect.
Until next girls’ night aka until next weekend :)
sounds like a fun time and quite an adventure!
