Does anyone else use StatCounter for their blogs?
I have used it for years and just now realized the “creep factor” that is associated with it—I can see exactly where my blog readers come from, the Internet connection they are using (for example it says Bridgewater College), how they get there (for example by searching my name in Bing) and exactly how often they visit my blog a day…and the times they do so. I never realize I had such dedicated and persistent readers around me here at BC!!
And I’m also a bit creeped out. How freaky is the Internet that little ole’ me has all this information?? What is this world coming to?? And how far is too far??
