And here's to you and your temper
Yes, I remember what you said last night
And I know that you see what you're doing to me
Tell me, why?
It’s been awhile since a Your Turn Tuesday so I figured, why not?? It’s 8:01; I have a test to study for, and a Calculus worksheet, but why not?? Why not take a minute for me, to share with you, so you can share with me?!?
I read blogs before I ever, ever, ever had the idea to start this one. I love them and can’t get enough of them. Any kind of blogs. Blogs by women, blogs by men, blogs by teens, blogs by mothers, blogs by fathers. The more different, the better. But for all of them, there’s gotta be the hooker, the thing that keeps me coming back.
So this week it’s an easy challenge. Post three of your most favorite blogs for ME to check out and include a few words about why you keep going back.
Here are three of my favorites:
1. McMama from My Charming Kids
Well if you haven’t already heard about McMama and baby Stellan then you should definitely check them out. I found out about her from one of those buttons over there (yeap, that’s Stellan ---------------->) She’s funny, very honest at times, and happens to give photography tips along the way---she’s just that awesome.
2. Matt from Matt, Liz, and Madeline (You’re gonna need lots of tissues if you start from about the time Maddy was born two years ago!)
If you watch Oprah you might already know the story of Matt, Liz, and Maddy. Not giving too much away, Maddy was born and then Liz died less than 72 hours later. Matt blogs, although less frequently then usual, about raising Maddy without his wife. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. He’s so good he’s writing a book.
I’m not sure how I found Kelly, but once I did. I never left. She’s a typical Southern wife and mother trying to keep it all together, while holding house and dinner tours, enjoying Sonic’s, Target, and Arkansas football, and following God’s path!
4. And because I couldn’t keep it to the three: Polka Dots and Protein Bars.
Kinda like Kelly I’m not 100% sure just how I found her, but she’s funny and definitely tells it like it is. She wears dresses and cute headbands and bows (like me!) and she sews! She’s so amazing that she’s even got this amazing giveaway going on right now from Caroline Pad (which deserves it’s own post) that you should all check out it’s just that amazing!
5. And because I couldn’t keep it at a weird number and because I love her, my aunt Holly at My Bubbled Mess.
I’ve linked you to her before, but I can’t leave her out. She’s one of my favorite, favorites. She’s funny (see a pattern---I like humor!) and just an all around cool person and she’ll let you know about cool things—like the PostSecret blog! And I’ve gotta get my updates.
So get commenting you! (Yes, you there, hand hovering over the mouse. I want to hear from you!)
Thank you, thank you for linking to mine and the sweet comments about my blog! I'm loooving yours!
