I’m sure that you don’t want to hear me babble on and on about my experience at the Taylor Swift concert show so I thought that I would sum it up for you in one word: enchanting.
It was not a concert, but rather a wonderfully orchestrated show. Each song, each number had a different feel and a different setting. The songs that I love were brought to life through the use of digitalized backgrounds, dancers, actors, lights and fireworks. It was as if the songs had come to life right there before the 52, 000 of us that squished into the Pittsburg Steelers’ stadium that night.
We were lucky enough to score tickets that seated us on Heinz Field—and we got to wear these nifty little pink bracelets because of it! As you can see in the background, the stadium was P-A-C-K-E-D and we were all incredibly excited.
And so the show began…
From all the different sets to the outfits and actors, Taylor Swift and her crew put on one spectacular show. As you can see in the pictures from Speak Now, with the wedding going on complete with minister, they were able to bring the story of a girl interrupting impending nuptials to life. And that was just one of the first numbers, the same sort of showmanship was recreated countless times over the course of the night.
Taylor Swift even brought the show into the crowd when she walked off the stage and onto the field—where we were sitting and simultaneously realizing that we were on the same ground as T. Swift—and up to the tree to do a few songs. Amazing!!
The night was an all-out spectacular full of fans screaming along to words that mean so much to each of us, creating a feeling, a vibe of happiness, that I will always remember.
It was pure enchantment.
Btw, if you stuck it out, all the way through this post, you should really get a sticker or something! Thank you :)
You also get to hear the song that sparked the perfect word to describe the show for this recap post—it just happens to be from the same concert!
I'm seeing Taylor in early September (night before my first day of junior year, go figure) and I'm 1,000x more stoked now! Ahh! So glad you had a great time! I can't wait.
